ABOUT THE TRIUMPH PROJECT

Every year, millions of newborns and mothers in developing countries face life-threatening conditions due to inadequate healthcare. The TRIUMPH Project seeks to enhance maternal and neonatal healthcare by focusing on capacity building through initiatives in Addressing birth asphyxia and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Preventing, managing, and providing follow-up care for high-risk pregnancies.

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS

USA Team: Neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatal nurses, and neonatal respiratory therapists. India Participants: Pediatric, obstetric, and community health departments from BLDE (Bijapur), MRMC (Gulbarga), and SVMC (Tirupati). Ethiopian Delegation: Physicians and nurses, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and specialized nurses from three Ethiopian hospitals.
